A Starting Point is an image or video used as stimulus material for members to discuss key issues in teaching and engaging all learners. A new Starting Point will be featured on the home page on a regular basis. Discussion of Starting Points occur in the Forum. Click on the Discussion in the Forum menu in the top navbar. You will come to a screen that shows all discussion threads of each of the Starting Points.

Members can discuss the Starting Points in the Forum. All discussion is archived so all discussion points on a particular topic can become a valuable part of the toolkit for teaching mathematics in the classroom. If you have a Starting Point to offer please either post to the Forum or send the material as a word document to the Connect with Maths team at connectwithmaths@aamt.edu.au
