The Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) Inc., founded in 1966, is the nation’s premier organisation of mathematics educators.

AAMT aims to:

support and enhance the work of teachers;
promote the learning of mathematics; and
represent and promote interests in mathematics education.

AAMT Journals

AAMT publishes two quarterly journals: The Australian Mathematics Education Journal (AMEJ) and the Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom (APMC). Teachers, students, researchers and teacher-educators are encouraged to submit articles for publication. Please download our Guidelines for Submission of Papers to AAMT Journals.
