2013: Make it count project - summary of the final report.

30/03/11: In March 2011 Make it count held a meeting for the project's cluster leaders, critical friends and evaluators.  The meeting was seen as crucial to the remaining two years of the project as Clusters  develop rigour to their approaches to improving the mathematics learning outcomes of Indigenous students.  The Chairperson of the project's Expert Advisory Group, Emeritus Professor Paul Hughes, made some  observations at the meeting about data collection, interrogating pedagogy, parent engagement and more.

16/02/11: Key Messages (so far) from the Make it count Clusters.

16/12/10: Make it count has developed guiding principles for the project to support schools in improving mathematics and numeracy outcomes. 

06/06/10: Make it count has developed a draft discussion paper about culturally responsive mathematics pedagogy.

08/01/10: A national professional learning network of educators working with Indigenous students in numeracy and mathematics has been established. The network is providing educators from all over Australia with an online learning community to support best practice and improve teaching and learning outcomes. 19/10/09: Media Release - $3 million for 'Make it Count' Indigenous maths program The Minister for Education, Julia Gillard, today announced funding of $3 million for Make it Count, a numeracy project for Indigenous students.

01/10/09: The official launch of Make it count: Numeracy, mathematics and Indigenous learners will take place at the National Indigenous Education Conference in Hobart on 23 November.
