NRICH enriching mathematics is a project which aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners and build the capacity of teachers wishing to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice. NRICH is a resource for primary and secondary students, teachers and parents.
NRICH aims to:
- Enrich the experience of the mathematics curriculum for all learners
- Offer challenging and engaging activities
- Develop mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Show rich mathematics in meaningful contexts
- Work in partnership with teachers, schools and other educational settings (http://nrich.maths.org/about)
AAMT is working with the NRICH team to bring resources aligned to the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics and Diversity.
