Making It Real
Making It Real is a customisable program that contains a great selection of quality interactive literacy and numeracy resources. Making It Real has been modelled on the community of Lockhart River, a coastal Indigenous community situated on the eastern side of Cape York Peninsula in Queensland. The photographs, artwork, pictures, music and voices on the program are all fully editable, allowing the program to easily take on the uniqueness of another location with minimal effort.
What Works. The Work Program
Helps schools plan and tak action to improve educational outcomes for Australian Indigenous students. Provides material to support the three-step process: building awareness, forming partnerhips and working systematically. Facilitators are also available free of charge to schools.
